favorite movies: the american president

one of my favorite movies. michael douglas and annette benning made a perfect romantic movie chemistry.

favorite actress: on helen hunt

Helen Hunt is one of my favorite actresses. i first liked her in the movie "Twister" (since im such a sucker for romance, i guess i liked the idea of Joe and Billy getting back together after chasing tornadoes). i eventually found out that she's in "Mad About You", one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. and she also won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Actress in the movie "As Good as it Gets". her latest movies include "What Women Want" (with Mel Gibson), "Pay it Forward" (with Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment), "Cast Away" (with Tom Hanks), and "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" (with Woody Allen)

even though she hasn't released a movie for four years now, much is still to come from her. watch out for her new movie "a good woman" and an hbo tv movie "empire falls".

some thoughts: on boredom

what makes people so bored?
just some thoughts:
..the idea of not having anything worthwhile to do drive people to boredom..worthwhile being the operative word. but come to think of it, what does worthwhile signifies? is it relative? a, the age old question of what is relative and what's not: do i define my own concept of boredom or is it the same for everyone else? is worthwhile for me not the same for you?

when will people ever have the answer to these questions..maybe people do have answers, i just don't know what they are.

anyway, speaking of my own boredom, i found this banner from one of my obsessions these past few months... enjoy!
